EDIT: Changed my 2 star to a 4 Star review after dealing with their helpful customer service.The pens look nice, and the box they come in is handsome as well. There are two different types of pen in the box, as you can see in the picture. The one where you take off the cap and write is fine. The one you twist is unusable. The part you twist always rubbed against my hand while writing, forcing it to close. If there was a way to lock it open, I would be more than happy with these pens, but I am stuck with one useable pen and one that is so frustrating to use I quit touching.The Good:1. Prompt delivery - the items arrived on the day they were promised.2. Nice design, good appearance - the box and the pens themselves look nice, and have a good texture to them. It's nice to the touch.3. Performance - both pens write real nice. It has a good "feel" to them when writing.The Bad:1. The case is damaged. It's got gouge/nick marks on the side. But the shipping box itself looks perfectly fine (i.e., no signs of damage to the shipping carton), and so it looks like the case was already like that when it was first shipped out.2. Each pen also came individually wrapped in its own plastic wrapper -- the wrapper on one of them was fine, but the other was already all ripped up, and in pieces when it arrived. This one is not as big of a deal as the damage to the case, though.Unfortunately, I don't have time to return the product or ask for a replacement because this was supposed to be a gift that I'm going to be giving to someone tomorrow, So I guess I'm stuck with it.I ordered several different wooden style pen sets from Amazon and returned them all...absolute crap. This one was slower coming so when I got it I expected another piece of junk to return. These actually write easily and the ink looks like it wants to be on the page. If you are looking for a pen and pencil set this one is not for you. It's a steal.. but it's two pens. Identical pens I think? That's weird right! I gotta go back and check. But hey for the price who can complain. I'll let you know if they fall apart any time soon.Great pens for the price but not the highest quality. Definitely worth the moneyI was looking for a going away present for my troop as he transitioned from the military to civilian life. I thought this would be perfect. I have say that I was really worry about the quality however,it exceeded my expectations. It was a really nice wood with a little weight to it. I received it within 2 days of ordering. I was able to get it engraved. My troop loved it!! This will be something I can get in the future for my troops. Thanks!!This is a very nice looking pen set. One pen I have no problem getting replacement cartridges for but the other one I have yet to find cartridges for because they are of a different type. I love the feel and look of both of them. I really wish this company would offer the ink cartridge replacements or change the type of ink cartridges used in them.The pens have a nice finish. Both were a little dirty on the writing tip when they arrived. But after a couple hours of meeting notes they are writing smoothly.This is a nice gift for anyone. It came on time and I believe the pens work very well. I just bought it so we will see how long it lasts.
